Great situations there. Ace article.
Maybe it's the oft used metrosexual look, but it's hard for me to imagine most JRPG characters (besides anyone at all with stubble; I'm looking at you Auron, Ryotaro Doujima, etc.) being able to hold their salt.
Speaking of FFX, I thought it was pretty funny that despite the aforementioned facial hair, Jecht couldn't hold his liquor well at all.
Wow. 167 screens. Pretty nice looking stuff in there.
Although I suppose you're bound to have an impressive collection after 13 years.
"It can avoid to make the hurt for the people and crispness goods when operate failed which is very safety, and have a good sense of reality"
Well that is a patently awesome translation.
Also, anyone dumb enough to actually throw this at their TV deserves the results.
I personally was just ribbing Nuri about not knowing about Mistwalker. Sorry if it seemed otherwise.
What.
I am not party to whatever this has turned into, which is apparently some kind of impromptu PS3 fanboy witchhunt. :s
Never heard of Mistwalker? :o
For shame.
I'm thinking Blue Dragon 2. There have been rumblings.
Is the game really that popular?
Sorry, I wasn't try to point a finger at you specifically.
Does everyone have to post about their broken console? No. And only a minority will make blog posts like with the RROD situation. Not every one will be right on about YLOD and some will downright lie. I'm sure not every single RROD report was accurate. But for better or worse the media exposure often leads to answers.
"The tabletop argument.
Any electronic RPG is essentially a JRPG. Western RPGs require a tabletop and a D20."
Pretty much my only disagreement. I don't understand it, particularly since the first computer RPGs weren't Japanese in origin. JRPGs are obviously more popular (although that could be changing now), though there have been plenty of WRPGs, mostly on PC, the most overlooked platform ever since consoles gained prominence.
"Now updated the article with Sexy Videos."
Psh. Who cares.
*click* (-_-);
@aldesko: And yet we get RROD reports moreso every time a Tom, D*ck, or Harriet suffers it. I appreciate those as well because they help gauge the problem and encourage others to speak out. Consumers shouldn't be shut up because their problem isn't new. If RROD has taught us anything at all it's that customers should be as vocal as possible.
That is btw, not saying the problem is equivalent in SCOPE to RROD. I do not believe it is.
Also, I took my own advice, which ...
I pretty just got a PS3, a newer model. Of course, I wanted an older one for BC, but now I'm wondering if I got the better deal after all.
I'm finding it's still a good idea to wait a while into the console's life before buying one. The early PS2s had DRE, the early Xbox's had those unreliable Thompson drives... Now coloured lights spell doom for early adopters this gen.
To Nintendo's credit, I haven't experienced anything similar since the early Famicom era. Of cou...
@Real Gambeler
I don't know about you, but I actually appreciate some kind of heads up on how my console could fail. Media reporting was a pretty important element in determining how widespread RROD had become so what's the difference now?
Why don't you go ahead and type YLOD into Google and look through the threads about dealing with the problem? It's not restricted to three or four people. So it could be you or I one day. More info about this possible problem is g...
"People really loved getting really immersed in the science fiction, going beyond the barrier of a handmade story and going out into the galaxy to see what's there. They loved that idea, but they wanted it to be richer, more variety. So we're addressing those things for Mass Effect 2."
I'm definitely one of those people so it's good to hear this. One of the most fun things for me to do in an RPG is go beyond the main quest to experience meaningful events that don't nece...
Jesus, she's got a chin like a goddamn boxer.
Actually, she looks like Joanie Laurer before the surgery.
Hahaha. That it's done with UE3 is probably the least shocking fact in all of gaming today. Silly point.
Anyway, I enjoyed Crackdown, so this might be something awesome. I wonder if this will use GFWL? RTW can make some damn fun achievements.
Pass.
Ha, I sure wasn't kidding. I'd never call something classic that quickly. Of course I tend to get bogged down in minutia and two hour conversations about what to call Magna Carta. KRPG? ERPG? *shrug*
Let's just leave it at 'Persona 4 shouldn't be missed by any serious gamer' :D
"I don't understand how people play games cus you can level up or you can grab loot e.t.c. If the gameplay is crap then i will most likely hate the game."
And you'll never understand, because you don't like (or don't want to like) Crackdown. For those who actually liked the game, leveling and collectibles just enrich an already fun game.
Who wins between Hulk and Kratos? Same answer to every showdown: depends who you like most.
